Responsibilities

• ▹Identify, scope, and lead large technical projects
• ▹Make effective tradeoffs between business priorities and technical sustainability
• ▹Engineer sophisticated monitoring and alerting systems for the security data pipeline
• ▹Collaborate with security researchers to deploy new scanning techniques
• ▹Lead complex projects with multiple stakeholders
• ▹Contribute to building Vanta's engineering culture

Requirements

• ▹7+ years of full stack experience with backend emphasis
• ▹Technical leadership experience on teams or complex projects
• ▹Strong communication and collaboration skills
• ▹Experience building user-facing SaaS products for startups and enterprise
• ▹Previous startup experience or bias-for-action environment
• ▹Experience building 0→1 products and solving large-scale problems

Nice to have

• ▹Interest in or prior experience in security
• ▹TypeScript and Go experience
