Senior II Full-Stack Engineer (back-end heavy)

Responsibilities

• ▹Design, build, and evolve scalable backend systems using Python/Django, driving architectural decisions, creating new services, and owning critical integrations
• ▹Develop and evolve frontend experiences in React/TypeScript, contributing to experimentation frameworks and frontend engineering best practices
• ▹Lead complex initiatives from discovery through deployment, owning solutions throughout their lifecycle
• ▹Drive engineering excellence through mentorship, architectural reviews, and adoption of best practices
• ▹Partner with Product, Data, and UX to identify opportunities and maximize customer value through experimentation
• ▹Shape architectural direction for complex systems, improving scalability, reliability, and maintainability
• ▹Navigate ambiguity, evaluate trade-offs, and align technical investments with business objectives
• ▹Influence technical direction beyond your immediate scope, collaborating with engineers, managers, and stakeholders

Requirements

• ▹Backend-heavy full-stack expertise (~85% backend, 15% frontend) with deep backend engineering skills
• ▹Experience designing and evolving large-scale web applications, well-designed APIs, distributed systems, high-volume data flows
• ▹Demonstrated ability to influence technical decisions and drive engineering best practices
• ▹Strong product mindset, translating ambiguous business challenges into scalable technical solutions
• ▹Proactive problem-solving, comfortable navigating ambiguity independently
• ▹High level of self-organization and ownership, track record of delivering measurable outcomes
• ▹Excellent collaboration and communication skills; English B2 or higher
• ▹Experience mentoring engineers, contributing to code and design reviews
• ▹Understanding of observability, reliability, and operational best practices; willingness to join on-call rotation (1 week every 5 weeks)
• ▹Deep, hands-on expertise in AI tools, especially agentic AI SDLC
