Senior Software Engineer, Billing Platform

Responsibilities

• ▹Architect and scale core systems powering Sentry's billing infrastructure
• ▹Build the next generation usage-tracking pipeline, processing hundreds of billions of events daily with low latency and financial-grade accuracy
• ▹Help design flexible pricing primitives, from per-event usage billing to complex enterprise contracts
• ▹Contribute to technical decisions on data consistency challenges unique to billing (event delays, retroactive pricing changes, distributed count reconciliation)

Requirements

• ▹Built or significantly improved systems with high-stakes accuracy requirements
• ▹Mentored engineers through ambiguous, high-stakes projects
• ▹Operated services where reliability includes both uptime and financial correctness
