Engineering Manager, Service Platform

Responsibilities

• ▹Lead the team with a product-focused mindset in a fast-paced environment
• ▹Guide critical reliability systems including Temporal, Canary, and deployments
• ▹Articulate and balance priorities across the organization
• ▹Manage cross-cutting stakeholder relationships, prioritizing customer needs
• ▹Navigate ambiguous, technically complex problem spaces
• ▹Lead by example with a strong incident-triaging mindset

Requirements

• ▹Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• ▹2+ years of experience leading and managing people on large-scale distributed systems
• ▹7+ years of software development experience in one or more languages
• ▹Proven track record of launching high-impact products, ideally developer-facing
• ▹Strong proficiency maintaining high standards for production services

• ▹Strong communication skills, contextualizing problems for various audiences
• ▹Skilled at navigating ambiguity and involving the right stakeholders
• ▹Experience building and shipping products to users
