Software Architect (L6)

Responsibilities

• ▹Set and communicate long-term architectural vision, aligning teams and leadership
• ▹Lead cross-product architecture reviews and standardize engineering practices
• ▹Solve the most complex, ambiguous technical challenges at platform/company scale
• ▹Mentor principal and staff engineers, fostering engineering excellence
• ▹Partner closely with product, engineering and executive leaders

Requirements

• ▹15+ years designing and scaling distributed systems and platforms
• ▹Demonstrated ability to set technical vision and strategy at enterprise level
• ▹Expertise in system design, reliability, scalability, security and cost optimization at large scale
• ▹Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and resolving complex problems
• ▹Proven record of mentoring senior engineering talent
• ▹Exceptional written and verbal communication, influence and leadership skills
• ▹Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with cloud-native, multi-region systems and architecture patterns
• ▹History of driving engineering standards adoption across business units
• ▹Observability and data architecture experience at scale
• ▹Open-source project leadership or significant external technical impact
• ▹Prior experience at high-growth SaaS, communications or platform companies
