Responsibilities

• ▹Build and own fraud detection capabilities for Stytch's fraud platform on Twilio
• ▹Collect deep browser and device signals to identify bad actors
• ▹Partner with product and engineering leadership to set direction
• ▹Collaborate across teams on architecture and platform integration
• ▹Author design docs, drive key technical decisions, review code
• ▹Improve production quality and resilience through observability and incident response
• ▹Mentor other engineers through pairing and feedback

Requirements

• ▹6+ years of experience designing, building and operating production systems
• ▹Familiarity with C/C++ (production experience not required)
• ▹Experience with a production-grade codebase in a modern language, writing high-quality code
• ▹Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related industry experience
• ▹Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• ▹Ability to work non-standard, on-call rotation weekend and holiday hours

Nice to have

• ▹Familiarity with JavaScript, Go, WebAssembly
• ▹Experience with reverse engineering or its detection, browser automation, botting/fraud defense
• ▹Offensive and/or defensive security software engineering experience
