Responsibilities

• ▹Technical validation & custom architecture: define technical success criteria collaboratively with customers, aligning validation activities with business outcomes
• ▹Technical strategic ownership: lead the technical partnership on assigned accounts, maintaining deep proficiency in Cloudflare's portfolio
• ▹Business generation & expansion: run technical discovery and qualification using solution selling methodologies (MEDDPICC, BANT); lead tailored demos and proofs-of-concept
• ▹Enterprise account planning & deal execution: participate in account planning, stakeholder mapping, multi-product roadmap development; maintain presence in opportunity reviews and pipeline management (Salesforce)
• ▹Customer advisory: partner with clients as a dedicated account advisor on Cloudflare implementation best practices and security/performance strategy
• ▹Cross-functional & ecosystem collaboration: develop relationships across Sales, Product, Engineering, and Support, and with external channel and alliance partners
• ▹Thought leadership & mentorship: share internal content, deliver demos, author training material or blog posts, mentor fellow engineers
• ▹Travel: monthly travel to Brazil, plus 25-50% travel to high-growth accounts and regional teams

Requirements

• ▹Fluency in Portuguese required
• ▹Minimum 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing sales engineering, consulting, or systems engineering role within enterprise segments; knowledge of MEDDPICC and BANT
• ▹Production-grade expertise across all layers of the OSI Model: BGP routing, GRE tunneling, TCP/UDP transport mechanics, DNS, HTTP(S) delivery, SSL/TLS handshakes
• ▹Deep technical knowledge of cloud security and performance portfolios; experience with multi-cloud/hybrid environments (AWS, GCP, Azure), reverse-proxy topologies, SASE/SSE, ZTNA, SWG, CASB, DLP, and L3/L4/L7 DDoS mitigation
• ▹Proficiency with a scripting or programming language (Python, JavaScript, Bash, Lua, Go) to build custom edge logic, use RESTful APIs, or manage Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g. Cloudflare Terraform provider)
• ▹Polished communication and high EQ, with a track record of building trusted-advisor relationships from developers to C-level executives
• ▹Strong project management and execution, balancing quality and efficiency under competing deadlines
• ▹Proficient in adopting AI tools to expand role capabilities
• ▹Hands-on experience building full-stack web applications, working with databases, or experimenting with generative AI security architectures
• ▹Technical troubleshooting skills: command-line interfaces, HTTP request/response analysis via browser inspectors, L3/L4 vs L7 protections
• ▹Detailed understanding of web vulnerabilities (CSRF, XSS, SQLi) and how Cloudflare mitigates them
• ▹Comprehensive understanding of regulatory and security frameworks: PCI DSS, HIPAA, GDPR, SOC-2, FedRAMP
• ▹Undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• ▹Advanced certifications in networking, cloud architectures, or information security (e.g. Cloudflare certifications, CISSP, AWS/GCP Solutions Architect)
