Responsibilities

• ▹Break down larger projects into individual tasks and deliver them in phases, collaborating with others for timely delivery
• ▹Support the product development lifecycle by collaborating with product management, design and analytics, participating in ideation and articulating technical constraints
• ▹Support operations and availability by creating and monitoring metrics, escalating when needed, and supporting on-call efforts
• ▹Contribute to team growth by participating in the interview process

Requirements

• ▹1.5+ years of experience as a software engineer
• ▹Experience designing, developing and launching backend systems, proficient in Python or Kotlin
• ▹Familiarity with the building blocks of distributed systems and technologies like AWS, MySQL and Spark
• ▹Ability to turn a business problem into a solution across multiple software components, writing clear, well-tested, extensible code
• ▹Comfortable navigating a large codebase, debugging others' code, and giving code review feedback
• ▹Proactive ownership of personal growth, seeking feedback from team, manager and stakeholders
• ▹Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with a global engineering team
