Responsibilities

• ▹Directly support highly complex projects by overseeing development, quality assurance, planning, implementation and maintenance of product releases
• ▹Develop and create strategies for automated integration and delivery, including the cross-project infrastructure and tool suite, focusing on harmonized automation frameworks and cloud-native functions in Packet Core to ensure efficient and reliable automated deployment processes
• ▹Elaborate on the development of new deployment strategies and disaster recovery plans, ensuring they align with the overall goals and requirements
• ▹Work closely with the operations team to deploy planned solutions, improve process efficiency, and engage with innovative topics and concepts, ensuring a high degree of digitization in support processes

Requirements

• ▹University degree with a focus on computer science or a comparable qualification
• ▹Several years of professional experience in the DevOps environment
• ▹Excellent understanding of the architecture, interfaces and call flows of ePC and 5GC including interaction with surrounding systems
• ▹Profound experience with cloud technologies such as Docker/Kubernetes/OpenStack
• ▹Knowledge of Packet Data Core systems
• ▹Extensive knowledge of Helm, Istio, Prometheus, Flux
• ▹Good knowledge of microservice architecture and the maintenance of cloud-based applications
• ▹In-depth expertise with monitoring systems and their evaluation
• ▹Long-standing routine in 2nd or 3rd-level support in Mobile Packet Core systems
• ▹Very good experience in classic and agile forms of cooperation
• ▹Very good skills in English (writing and speaking)
• ▹Willingness to travel

Nice to have

• ▹Experience in scripting (Python)
• ▹Basic skills in German (mainly speaking)
