Responsibilities

• ▹Take ownership of the products' modeling pipelines
• ▹Contribute to high modeling performance through insightful ideas and initiatives
• ▹Quickly build and deploy scalable ML systems
• ▹Engage with colleagues across the company and cooperate efficiently with product managers, teammates and stakeholders
• ▹Deep dive into data to discover relevant insights
• ▹Build an understanding of the mobile gaming industry, the company strategy, its products and their daily operations
• ▹Mentor and guide a team of data scientists, fostering technical excellence and autonomy
• ▹Establish and enforce best practices in ML engineering, experimentation and reproducibility
• ▹Champion a culture of impact-driven research so that models perform well technically and create tangible business value
• ▹Proactively identify risks in modeling approaches, data quality, scalability and business alignment, and design mitigation strategies

Requirements

• ▹Extensive experience building machine learning systems
• ▹Extensive experience with Python, SQL and MLOps best practices
• ▹Cloud experience (ideally AWS, but another provider is fine)
• ▹Excellent communication in English and French (mandatory)
• ▹You enjoy working in a team, learning new things and sharing knowledge

Nice to have

• ▹Airflow and dbt experience
• ▹Experience in a tech startup or scaleup
• ▹Strong achievements on Kaggle
