Senior Machine Learning Engineer - Messaging Platform

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Design, build, and ship ML models optimizing messaging across push, email, and in-app channels
• ▹Plan and run A/B experiments in a multi-objective environment
• ▹Contribute to reinforcement learning systems optimizing for long-term outcomes
• ▹Partner with product managers and data scientists to define success metrics
• ▹Own the full ML lifecycle from data to deployment and monitoring
• ▹Integrate ML models with upstream systems
• ▹Help shape AI-assisted development practices within the team

Requirements

• ▹Strong experience building and deploying ML models in production at scale
• ▹Ability to translate business problems into ML solutions
• ▹Experience with complex optimization problems such as ranking or multi-objective decision-making
• ▹Hands-on experience with PyTorch and distributed systems such as Ray
• ▹Deep understanding of experimentation with interacting metrics
• ▹Ability to analyze results using causal inference or metric decomposition
• ▹Experience with or curiosity about reinforcement learning
