Responsibilities

  • ▹Hire, coach and develop the careers of a team of engineers
  • ▹Own high-quality deliveries
  • ▹Partner with product managers on prioritization and product vision
  • ▹Shape technical strategy with staff engineers
  • ▹Do hands-on engineering work occasionally
  • ▹Support a highly effective engineering team

Requirements

  • ▹Experience developing great people and strong engineering culture in agile environments
  • ▹Experience with distributed systems scaling to millions of users
  • ▹Experience with data warehouses and large-scale data processing
  • ▹Experience with commercial SaaS products, taking features from zero to one
  • ▹Senior IC background (or has been) with strong people/leadership skills
