QA Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• ▹Lead, mentor and manage a team of QA Engineers, fostering a culture of quality and collaboration
• ▹Define and oversee the implementation of test strategies covering functional, performance, security and regression testing
• ▹Design and maintain automated testing frameworks for blockchain-based applications and APIs
• ▹Establish best practices for QA processes and continuously improve testing methodologies
• ▹Work closely with developers to review features, identify testability concerns and validate new functionality
• ▹Manage bug tracking and reporting processes, ensuring timely resolution of defects
• ▹Coordinate with DevOps to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and optimize execution in cloud-based environments
• ▹Stay updated with blockchain and fintech QA trends, security vulnerabilities and best practices
• ▹Communicate QA metrics, progress and risks to stakeholders

Requirements

• ▹5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role, preferably in fintech, blockchain or security-focused industries
• ▹Strong background in automation testing frameworks and methodologies
• ▹Deep understanding of Bitcoin and blockchain technology
• ▹Experience with API testing tools and scripting languages
• ▹Knowledge of security testing methodologies, including penetration testing and vulnerability assessments
• ▹Hands-on experience with performance testing tools
• ▹Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, remote-first and collaborative environment
• ▹Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset
• ▹Excellent communication, leadership and documentation skills
