Dual Study Program (DHBW) – Bachelor of Engineering, Embedded Systems

Kärcher's dual Bachelor of Engineering program in Winnenden combines the fundamentals of electrical engineering and embedded systems with hands-on practice. Students study at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) in Stuttgart while gaining practical experience at the company's development and test centers.

Responsibilities

  • ▹Learn the fundamentals of electrical engineering and computer engineering at DHBW Stuttgart
  • ▹Gain competencies in software engineering and hardware development
  • ▹Develop project management knowledge and soft skills through interdisciplinary teamwork
  • ▹Get a hands-on introduction to electrical engineering and programming basics in the training workshop
  • ▹After the induction phase, take on exciting tasks at Kärcher's development and test centers or plants

Requirements

  • ▹A general higher education entrance qualification (Abitur)
  • ▹Good grades in science subjects and computer science
  • ▹Strong willingness to learn, resilience, and reliability
  • ▹Communication skills, openness, and enjoyment of teamwork
