Cyber Security Consultant

Responsibilities

• ▹Threat and risk analyses, checking IT organisations for vulnerabilities and recommending suitable improvements
• ▹Introduce and review identity and access management
• ▹Information risk and IT security management (ISMS)
• ▹Help draft policies and documentation
• ▹Define IT processes and IT strategies to make IT systems secure, implement legal requirements and optimise IT governance and compliance
• ▹Further develop processes and base documents
• ▹Design and deliver information security training

Requirements

• ▹Degree in (business) informatics, engineering or a comparable field
• ▹High analytical ability and strong interest in IT security, and the ability to see IT security as an administrative process
• ▹Cooperative way of working and the ability to persuade through argument
• ▹Very good German (a must-have)

Nice to have

• ▹Certification as an auditor for ISO 27001 / BSI Grundschutz
• ▹First knowledge of information security and data protection standards and norms (e.g. ISO 2700x, BSI Grundschutz, TISAX, NIST Cyber Security Framework, COBIT, GDPR)
