A networking engineer is wanted to support the build, operation and further development of enterprise networks alongside experienced colleagues. The location is Düsseldorf, Bielefeld, Bonn, Dortmund, Essen, Cologne or Münster.

Responsibilities

▹Install and cable network hardware
▹Support the administration of LAN, WLAN and WAN environments
▹Configure network devices (e.g. switches, routers, firewalls)
▹Monitor network environments
▹Help analyse and resolve incidents
▹Support projects introducing or optimising network technologies

Requirements

▹Completed vocational training or degree in IT or a comparable qualification
▹Practical experience with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, etc.)
▹Knowledge of common network hardware (e.g. Cisco, Juniper, Aruba)
▹Interest in network and security technologies and willingness to keep learning
