A Cologne-based SaaS start-up is looking for a solution engineer to build scalable integration solutions around its e-commerce fulfillment platform together with customers, sales and the product team. The role combines technical consulting with pre-sales work.

Responsibilities

▹Be the technical contact for customers and partners on using, introducing and integrating the platform
▹Bridge between sales, product and IT: develop scalable solutions for individual customer requirements and make sure they are implemented with fulfillmenttools
▹Technical consulting on system architecture and integration of external systems (e.g. ERP, OMS, PIM) into the platform, focused on performance, scalability and future-proofing
▹Independently run technical workshops, product demos and trainings to get partners up to speed with the solution
▹Accompany pre-sales activities and project-based collaboration with customers and partners
▹Agile, cross-functional work

Requirements

▹Several years of experience in software development, system integration or technical consulting
▹Ideally e-commerce experience, especially in the retail sector
▹Routine with REST and GraphQL APIs and with integrating interfaces efficiently and securely
▹Solid knowledge of at least one programming language, e.g. Java, TypeScript or C#
▹Confidence in cloud environments (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and knowledge of distributed systems and microservices
▹Clear and convincing communication in German and English, explaining technical content understandably to internal and external audiences
