Partner Solutions Architect (GSI) - AMER West

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Ensure successful onboarding, training, enablement, and certification of partner technical resources
• ▹Participate in periodic joint business planning and review sessions
• ▹Support customer demos, proof-of-value work, and partner enablement workshops
• ▹Advocate for partners' technical concerns with Datadog internal teams
• ▹Analyze partner service offerings and recommend improved adoption of Datadog features
• ▹Collaborate with product management, engineering, and technical services teams to prioritize new capabilities

Requirements

• ▹Solid technical grounding with hands-on IT development and/or operations experience
• ▹10-15 years in a customer- or partner-facing technical role
• ▹Self-starter, tech-savvy professional with solid business acumen
• ▹Confident presentation skills
• ▹Hands-on experience in two or more areas: observability (Datadog, Splunk, AppD, New Relic, Dynatrace), public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Cloud Foundry), dev/scripting (Python, JavaScript, Ruby, Perl, PHP, Go), config management (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef), CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab)

Nice to have

• ▹Previous experience supporting channel partners (systems integrators, managed service providers)
• ▹Previous experience using Datadog or other cloud monitoring tools (APM, Infrastructure, Logs, Synthetics, NPM)
• ▹Root-cause-analysis, troubleshooting, debugging experience
