Developer Advocate

Responsibilities

• ▹Become the voice of the developer community at Notion, building relationships between developers and Product and Engineering teams
• ▹Build and publish engaging content — demos, guides, API reference material, blog posts; amplify community content via @NotionDevs
• ▹Own Notion's strategy and presence at hackathons, developer conferences, and events to drive activation among top AI builders
• ▹Partner with Engineering, Product, and Business Development on API improvements impacting the developer community
• ▹Own strategy and execution for key developer channels — Notion Devs Slack, Notion Devs X, and developer docs
• ▹Partner with marketing and sales teams to help them understand how developer features provide value for customers

Requirements

• ▹Solid technical background and strong presence in the developer community
• ▹Exceptional communicator, adept with individual developers and large audiences alike
• ▹Ready to build a program from 0 to 1 and grow it into a pillar of the company
• ▹Creative, interested in the business opportunities the Developer Platform opens up
• ▹Experience rallying internal stakeholders and project managing on a deadline with engineering teams
• ▹Curious and willing to adopt AI tools, without needing to be an AI expert

Nice to have

• ▹Experience as a developer advocate, engineer, or PM at a company where API is critical to growth
