Forward Deployed Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Work directly with customers to understand their workflows, infrastructure setups, and technical challenges
• ▹Quickly build an understanding of new technical environments and independently drive issues from investigation to resolution
• ▹Reverse engineer customer systems and resolve issues across CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, developer tooling, build systems, and application environments
• ▹Build product improvements, tooling, integrations, and fixes that unblock customer teams
• ▹Identify recurring patterns across customer engagements and collaborate with product and engineering to turn them into platform improvements

Requirements

• ▹Strong engineering fundamentals and the ability to navigate unfamiliar systems quickly
• ▹Comfort debugging across modern infrastructure, developer tooling, and application environments
• ▹High curiosity and a systematic approach to problem-solving
• ▹Strong communication skills, able to work directly with technical teams and users
• ▹Bias toward execution and comfort in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
• ▹Customer-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership and urgency
