Product Software Engineer - Spacelift (remote Europe)

Responsibilities

• ▹Deliver new features and products in an iterative, incremental manner
• ▹Own features end-to-end, from discovery through design, implementation, and maintenance
• ▹Tackle sophisticated technical challenges spanning multiple technologies
• ▹Implement solutions in Go that work at scale, with a strong focus on readability and testability
• ▹Keep learning about the problem space
• ▹Take part in the on-call rotation — you build it, you run it

Requirements

• ▹Passion for building products and interest in the problem space (DevOps, Platform Engineering, Developer Experience)
• ▹Proactive, ownership-driven mindset
• ▹5+ years of hands-on programming experience in Go, Rust, or C/C++
• ▹6+ years of experience in the tech industry (software engineering, platform, and/or DevOps)
• ▹Excellent communication skills

Nice to have

• ▹Previous experience at early-stage startups, or co-founding one
• ▹Experience with or interest in developer tooling
• ▹Experience with an IaC tool (OpenTofu/Terraform, Ansible, AWS CloudFormation) or with Kubernetes and the Cloud Native ecosystem
