Responsibilities

• ▹Drive project delivery: own the project lifecycle and improve delivery outcomes through structured execution
• ▹Boost efficiency: identify bottlenecks, streamline workflows, and improve tooling and resource allocation
• ▹Enable cross-team collaboration through effective communication and shared goals
• ▹Manage risk proactively: anticipate issues and develop mitigation plans
• ▹Keep stakeholders aligned: engage regularly, manage expectations, deliver on commitments
• ▹Align programs with Wayve's strategic priorities through smart scope and resource decisions
• ▹Champion continuous improvement: lead retrospectives and implement process changes

Requirements

• ▹5+ years leading complex, multi-team software or technology programs in fast-paced or early-stage environments
• ▹Technically strong: comfortable working with engineers and reasoning about modern software, ML, and robotics stacks
• ▹Systems thinking: understanding how the parts of a complex system fit together
• ▹Stays neutral and adapts under pressure in high-tension, ambiguous situations
• ▹Strong project management: planning, prioritizing, managing risk and dependencies
• ▹Clear communicator who explains complex ideas simply and surfaces risk early
• ▹Collaborative leader who brings people together and influences without authority

Nice to have

• ▹Ideally 8+ years as a Technical Program Manager
• ▹Engineering or computer science degree, or experience as an engineer; skilled in Jira or similar tools
• ▹Exposure to autonomous vehicles, robotics, ML, simulation/evaluation, or other safety-critical, compute-heavy domains
