Senior Hardware Test and Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Define and execute comprehensive test strategies from early prototyping through volume production
• ▹Lead technical test strategy and own validation planning, execution and risk management
• ▹Collaborate with electrical, mechanical and software engineering teams on failure analysis and root cause
• ▹Contribute to design reviews with design-for-reliability inputs
• ▹Analyze flight telemetry and customer analytics data sets to identify problems before they occur

Requirements

• ▹6+ years hands-on experience testing and delivering highly reliable complex electro-mechanical systems, with an emphasis on PCBA test engineering
• ▹Proven experience leading technical validation programs end-to-end
• ▹Strong EE testing experience with good mechanical intuition
• ▹Extensive knowledge of physics of failure for critical electronics and mechanical subsystems
• ▹Proficient in Python and/or SQL for managing large datasets and scripting automated tests
