Staff Software Engineer - Infrastructure

Responsibilities

• ▹Re-architect and maintain the growing Kubernetes fleet and its supporting infrastructure
• ▹Continually improve and expand continuous delivery of the product
• ▹Work in cross-functional teams, from hardware to cloud, to build new platform capabilities
• ▹Partner directly with security to continually improve practices and controls protecting customer data and drones
• ▹Drive cost-saving initiatives early in the product so it scales over time

Requirements

• ▹6+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, Platform Engineer, DevOps engineer, or equivalent infrastructure role
• ▹Comfortable debugging and automating Kubernetes clusters
• ▹Willingness to fix issues at the code level (Python or Go preferred)
• ▹Prior experience implementing continuous deployment systems
• ▹Understanding of cloud platform architecture: networking, security, storage, and resilient application topologies
• ▹Must meet U.S. person status/export-control access requirements for export-controlled technical data

Nice to have

• ▹Familiarity with supporting both SaaS and self-hosted applications
• ▹Experience supporting drones or highly automated physical hardware
