Sales Engineer - Credit

Responsibilities

• ▹Serve as technical lead for Enterprise accounts throughout the sales process
• ▹Partner with Account Executives to demonstrate how Plaid addresses use cases and technical requirements
• ▹Engage deeply with technical stakeholders to drive alignment and buy-in
• ▹Provide demos, address technical questions, architect implementation solutions, handle RFP responses
• ▹Take a hands-on role in POCs, identifying and rectifying performance shortfalls
• ▹Continuously re-evaluate selling assets and processes for more effective customer messaging
• ▹Work with engineering and product teams to translate prospect feedback into product insights

Requirements

• ▹5-7+ years of customer-facing experience selling to large enterprises
• ▹Familiarity with Identity Verification, fraud detection, Income Verification, or Cash Flow Underwriting
• ▹Fluency in insights products and underlying statistical/ML models, translating them into customer recommendations
• ▹Strong customer empathy
• ▹Background combining business experience and technical acumen
• ▹Strong communication skills, confident and proactive client management
• ▹Consultative mindset translating technical choices into business value
• ▹Ability to quickly learn new technologies and complex concepts
• ▹Knowledge of mobile and web application architecture for API platforms
• ▹Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
