• ▹Build a best-in-class practice management platform for therapists, from database schema to UI
• ▹Create interfaces for scheduling, AI-assisted clinical documentation, and payment management
• ▹Build the interfaces and APIs that power communication between patients and providers
• ▹Help design systems for treatment plans and progress notes, integrating AI-powered clinical intelligence
• ▹Turn insurance credentialing into a sleek, consumer-grade onboarding experience
• ▹Build tooling and infrastructure that expand Headway's provider network
• ▹Lay technical foundations that let the team ship quickly, safely, and reliably
• ▹Work with cross-functional leadership to shape roadmap and technical strategy

Requirements

• ▹Comfortable across both API architecture and frontend user experience
• ▹Track record of turning ambiguous problems into shipped software
• ▹Makes technical decisions that optimize for maintainability and scale
• ▹Mentors by default: pulls engineers into design discussions, gives code reviews that teach
• ▹Ships fast and iterates faster, preferring a good v1 this week over a perfect one later
• ▹Quick study in complex domains such as healthcare
• ▹Communicates with precision, in writing and verbally
• ▹Actively pushes the limits of AI tools in real engineering workflows
