Staff Software Engineer, RCM Core

As a Staff Engineer on the RCM AI team, you'll build LLM-powered agents and copilots that automate claims submission, remittance posting, denials, and document extraction in healthcare revenue cycle operations.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the RCM platform's technical direction by proposing and implementing improvements to architecture, tools, and technologies
  • Build end-to-end products to revolutionize revenue cycle management for providers and administrators
  • Own end-to-end integration workflows from design and development through deployment and post-launch monitoring
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, healthcare) to gather integration requirements
  • Improve system reliability and observability with best practices in monitoring, logging, and alerting
  • Optimize performance and scalability of web applications as the company rapidly expands
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and backend teams to ensure high availability
  • Mentor and guide engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence
  • Conduct in-depth code reviews and drive architectural improvements across the stack

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of professional software development industry experience
  • Proficiency in frontend languages: JavaScript, HTML, CSS
  • Proficiency in backend languages: Python, Go, or C++
  • Experience with Git, GCP/AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, relational and non-relational databases, monitoring/alerting tools
  • Proven track record designing and implementing end-to-end solutions and making architectural decisions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
