Senior Site Reliability Engineer - Remote

Responsibilities

• ▹Collaborate with engineering teams to design scalable, secure, and highly available systems
• ▹Establish and manage service level objectives (SLOs) and agreements (SLAs) for ClickHouse Cloud
• ▹Ensure monitoring and alerting are in place across all infrastructure components
• ▹Enhance incident response and post-mortem processes, communicating outages to affected customers
• ▹Continuously improve the reliability and performance of ClickHouse services
• ▹Plan and drive Chaos engineering initiatives across engineering teams
• ▹Manage on-call processes and establish escalation best practices to minimize downtime

Requirements

• ▹Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• ▹At least 8 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or a related field
• ▹Hands-on experience with Go and/or Python
• ▹Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• ▹Solid understanding of distributed databases and SQL
• ▹Experience with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes or Docker Swarm
• ▹Strong experience with automation and configuration management tools (Ansible, Terraform, Puppet)
• ▹Strong production debugging and problem-solving skills

• ▹Hands-on experience with ClickHouse specifically
