Senior Technical Sourcer, Applications Engineering

Responsibilities

• ▹Lead sourcing strategies across various engineering disciplines (software engineering, backend systems, product engineering)
• ▹Build and maintain a strong pipeline of passive candidates through proactive outreach, research, and networking
• ▹Partner closely with hiring managers and technical leaders to understand hiring needs and refine sourcing approaches
• ▹Use advanced sourcing techniques and tools to identify and attract exceptional talent
• ▹Represent OpenAI at industry events and conferences
• ▹Maintain accurate, organized candidate data and metrics

Requirements

• ▹5+ years of experience in technical sourcing, focused on engineering or technical roles
• ▹Proven track record sourcing candidates across software engineering and technical disciplines
• ▹Strong understanding of technical concepts and ability to communicate role requirements effectively
• ▹Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building trust with candidates and stakeholders
• ▹Proficiency with sourcing tools and platforms (e.g. LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS)
• ▹Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
