Senior software engineer role on the North for Finance team, building AI-powered agentic workflows and enterprise-grade tools specifically for finance teams.
Responsibilities
- ▹Design, build, ship and maintain customer-facing workflows and agentic automations
- ▹Own features end-to-end, from technical design through implementation, testing, launch and iteration
- ▹Collaborate closely with Product, UX, ML and Sales teams to validate requirements and prototype quickly
- ▹Work closely with customers in the finance domain
- ▹Develop custom interfaces that integrate seamlessly with financial data sources and enterprise tools
- ▹Extend core agentic platform capabilities to support finance-specific reliability, security and auditability requirements
- ▹Develop collaborative workspaces with role-based access control (RBAC) and data isolation
- ▹Own technical decisions that balance speed, quality and user needs
Requirements
- ▹Experience in full-stack product engineering
- ▹Experience building, shipping and operating production software used by thousands of users
- ▹Strong product judgment, attention to detail and deep care for end-user needs
- ▹Ability to execute in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities and objectives
- ▹High agency — learns quickly and drives change without waiting for perfect instructions
- ▹Curiosity, with the ability to identify, troubleshoot and fix issues across system boundaries
- ▹Ability to clearly document and track architectural proposals and technical decisions
- ▹Comfortable using AI actively while staying accountable for the quality and reliability of what is shipped
Nice to have
- ▹Experience in financial services or regulated industries
- ▹Familiarity with agentic AI architectures and implementation patterns
- ▹Knowledge of access control implementation in complex systems
