Senior Azure Databricks Platform Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure to support Databricks and data platform workloads
• ▹Build and maintain Azure resources including Resource Groups, VNets, Key Vaults, Storage Accounts, and AAD integrations
• ▹Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates
• ▹Apply DevOps best practices for automation, deployment, monitoring, and platform reliability
• ▹Ensure cloud environments are secure, scalable, and cost-effective
• ▹Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and security teams to support enterprise-grade data platforms
• ▹Troubleshoot and optimize infrastructure and platform performance
• ▹Contribute to standards, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• ▹Strong experience with Azure Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps
• ▹Minimum 6 months of Databricks experience is expected
• ▹Hands-on expertise with Azure Resource Groups, Virtual Networks (VNets), Azure Key Vault, Azure Storage Accounts, Azure Active Directory (AAD)
• ▹Proven experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates
• ▹Experience operating and supporting Azure Databricks platforms
• ▹Solid understanding of cloud security, networking, and identity management
• ▹Ability to work independently and take ownership in a senior-level role

Nice to have

• ▹CI/CD pipeline experience (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar)
• ▹Experience with monitoring and logging tools in Azure
• ▹Knowledge of data engineering or analytics platforms
• ▹Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer)
