Senior Azure Databricks Platform Engineer

Looking for a highly skilled Senior Azure Databricks Platform Engineer to design, build, and manage scalable data platforms on Microsoft Azure.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure to support Databricks and data platform workloads
  • Build and maintain Azure resources including Resource Groups, VNets, Key Vaults, Storage Accounts, and AAD integrations
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates
  • Apply DevOps best practices for automation, deployment, monitoring, and platform reliability
  • Ensure cloud environments are secure, scalable, and cost-effective
  • Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and security teams to support enterprise-grade data platforms
  • Troubleshoot and optimize infrastructure and platform performance
  • Contribute to standards, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Azure Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps
  • Minimum 6 months of Databricks experience is expected
  • Hands-on expertise with Azure Resource Groups, Virtual Networks (VNets), Azure Key Vault, Azure Storage Accounts, Azure Active Directory (AAD)
  • Proven experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates
  • Experience operating and supporting Azure Databricks platforms
  • Solid understanding of cloud security, networking, and identity management
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership in a senior-level role

Nice to have

  • CI/CD pipeline experience (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar)
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools in Azure
  • Knowledge of data engineering or analytics platforms
  • Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer)
