Senior Staff Finance Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Own the technical architecture of Cursor's finance systems
• ▹Lead and execute the most complex, ambiguous implementations across Finance systems, starting with Order to Cash
• ▹Partner with Sales, Finance, Legal, and RevOps to translate messy commercial requirements into clean, scalable technical solutions
• ▹Champion AI-forward automation in how Finance systems are built and operated
• ▹Build with a strong balance of code and configuration, knowing when each is the right tool

Requirements

• ▹Owned complex Finance Systems environments and integrations as a hands-on developer
• ▹Implemented or fully owned an ERP or major components of one end-to-end
• ▹Worked at pre-IPO companies through periods of real growth
• ▹Strong opinions about developer tooling, CI/CD, and how to maintain velocity with safety
• ▹Mentors by doing, pairing, and building together rather than through slides
• ▹Energized by ambiguity and moves fast by default
