Responsibilities

• ▹Own and evolve the DevOps and platform engineering function, from build/deployment pipelines to monitoring, infrastructure as code, and cost optimization
• ▹Design and maintain secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines
• ▹Improve observability via Datadog, GCP, and custom dashboards, with FinOps-focused observability outcomes
• ▹Implement and maintain FinOps governance, including showback/chargeback models
• ▹Enable developer productivity by creating internal tooling and reusable modules
• ▹Help teams define and measure SLOs
• ▹Serve as a FinOps thought leader, collaborating with Product and Engineering on cost-effective architectural patterns

Requirements

• ▹6+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or software engineering roles, ideally in high-growth startup environments
• ▹Proficiency in Python or Go, with strong software engineering fundamentals
• ▹Proven ownership of production infrastructure and platform tooling, strong debugging skills for complex distributed systems
• ▹Experience designing and implementing highly secure, robust infrastructure in environments with stringent regulatory requirements
• ▹Deep experience with Kubernetes and tools like ArgoCD, Helm, Terraform
• ▹Familiarity with GCP (preferred) or other major cloud providers, with a focus on cloud cost management
• ▹Hands-on experience with dedicated FinOps tooling (Kubecost, AWS Cost Explorer, GCP Cloud Billing, DoIT Cloud Intelligence)
• ▹Strong experience building CI/CD pipelines and internal developer tooling from the ground up
• ▹Hands-on experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Datadog), participation in on-call rotation

• ▹Experience with FedRAMP certification
