Staff Product Manager, Platform & Infrastructure

Responsibilities

• ▹Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the foundational primitives upon which everything at Render is built: compute & orchestration, network topology, traffic and routing, and data storage infrastructure
• ▹Drive prioritization across Render's platform investments, balancing the leverage of foundational capabilities against near-term product and business needs
• ▹Partner deeply with Engineering and other Product teams to shape the technical direction of Render's core infrastructure
• ▹Develop a strong, opinionated point of view on how Render's platform primitives need to evolve to serve AI-native builders, from compute and orchestration to storage and runtime
• ▹Set the standard for how product teams build on Render's platform, providing clear guidance, boundaries, and abstractions

Requirements

• ▹7+ years in Product Management, with the majority spent on developer tools, infrastructure, or platform products
• ▹General knowledge of how AI is being used by modern teams
• ▹Deep developer empathy, for both internal engineering teams and customers, and the technical depth to make sound architectural tradeoffs
• ▹A track record of taking ambiguous, cross-cutting platform problems and turning them into clear strategy and shipped outcomes

Nice to have

• ▹Experience as an infrastructure engineer
• ▹Experience building AI agents or infrastructure
