Technical Recruiter, Early Career

Backend Developer • Remote • Full-time • 📍 San Francisco

You'll own Notion's early career recruiting strategy end-to-end — from sourcing emerging talent to designing evaluation frameworks and converting interns and new grads into full-time Notion employees.

Responsibilities

  • Design and run durable, scalable, distinctly Notion early career recruiting programs (internships, new grad pipelines)
  • Experiment with new talent discovery models: communities, hackathons, open source, AI-native sourcing tools
  • Build inspired evaluation frameworks that go beyond traditional interview loops
  • Strengthen employer brand presence with Comms, Design and People
  • Coach hiring teams to assess early career talent with nuance, fairness and high standards

Requirements

  • 2+ years of recruiter experience with meaningful early career, university or program-based hiring exposure
  • A builder mentality — energized by creating something new
  • Genuine curiosity about finding and evaluating emerging talent
  • Strong instincts for employer brand and candidate experience
  • Ability to move between strategy and execution
  • Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfort using data to make decisions

Nice to have

  • Built or contributed to an early career program from scratch
  • Experimented with non-traditional sourcing or evaluation approaches
  • Deep familiarity with the early career talent landscape in engineering/technical roles
  • Active Notion user
