Responsibilities

• ▹Build authentication and other product features that make Notion safe and secure by default
• ▹Build scalable, AI-powered systems to detect, investigate, and mitigate risks including phishing, spam, objectionable content, scraping, private API abuse, account takeover, and other forms of fraud and abuse
• ▹Shape the future of AI safety at Notion by building controls and guardrails for Notion AI, custom agents, and emerging AI workflows
• ▹Partner across Trust & Safety, Engineering, Security, Legal, Data, and Product to make trust, privacy, and security core to how Notion scales

Requirements

• ▹5-8 years of experience building or securing products
• ▹Domain expertise and a strong passion for trust, safety, authentication, security, or privacy
• ▹Ownership and initiative: comfortable in a fast-moving, unstructured environment, taking ownership of ambiguous problems with a bias toward results
• ▹Team player: enjoys cross-functional collaboration and cares about learning, growing, and helping others do the same

Nice to have

• ▹Experience using AI (LLMs and/or classical ML) to solve trust or security problems at scale
• ▹Experience building AI-enabled applications in production
• ▹Proficiency with any part of the technology stack: React, TypeScript, Node.js, Postgres, Dynamo, Memcached
