A Mid / Senior role on Ashby's Design Engineering team, combining hands-on UI/UX design with front-end implementation in one role.
Responsibilities
- ▹Solve challenging design problems within the product
- ▹Expand and enhance the in-house design system
- ▹Consult on bespoke design work needed by Product Engineers
- ▹Redesign UI/UX flows based on user feedback and wireframes
- ▹Build consistent, reusable components for the design system
Requirements
- ▹2+ years of continuous experience as an Engineer or Designer (internships don't count)
- ▹Good proficiency in both design and engineering, with exceptional proficiency in the discipline practiced full-time
- ▹Experience designing products and shipping code to hundreds of users
Nice to have
- ▹Experience building a design system
- ▹Experience shipping to a large, live user base
