Responsibilities

• ▹Lead key engineering and product decisions
• ▹Actively ship production code for the Speechify iOS app
• ▹Work within a dedicated product team
• ▹Participate in product discussions to shape the roadmap
• ▹Maintain and enhance the existing complex app architecture

Requirements

• ▹Experience on products that scaled to a large user base
• ▹Track record of taking products from inception to meaningful traction
• ▹Customer obsession and commitment to the best possible user experience
• ▹Product thinking and thoughtful decisions about product evolution
• ▹Speed in generating ideas and deciding what ships now versus later
• ▹Focus and the judgment to know when to engage or go heads-down in a busy remote team
• ▹Swift and SwiftUI experience
• ▹Multithreading programming experience
• ▹Experience working with CI/CD infrastructure
• ▹Experience with Fastlane
• ▹Application of SOLID principles when writing code
• ▹Git experience and understanding of different Git strategies
