Field Service Engineer - Airport Security & Audio Systems (Schiphol)

Responsibilities

• ▹Commission security and audio systems
• ▹Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
• ▹Resolve complex faults and incidents
• ▹Test and validate system functionality
• ▹Ensure systems function according to specifications
• ▹Prepare handover and service reports
• ▹Carry out software updates and system changes
• ▹Implement small extensions and technical modifications
• ▹Coordinate colleagues, suppliers, and third parties
• ▹Log work performed and maintain technical documentation
• ▹Work according to ARBO, VCA, and airport safety procedures

Requirements

• ▹MBO+ level education in Electrical Engineering
• ▹BMI/OAI/Borg certifications
• ▹Basic knowledge of IT and network-driven systems
• ▹Experience with service, maintenance, and fault analysis
• ▹Independent, solution-oriented way of working
• ▹Good communication skills

Nice to have

• ▹MBV/TBV diploma
• ▹NEN3140 and VCA certification
• ▹Experience with CCTV, audio, or security systems
• ▹Affinity with IP networks and integrated systems
• ▹Ability to read and interpret technical English and German
