Software Engineer - Infrastructure

Responsibilities

• ▹Lead architecture for AWS infrastructure, container orchestration, and CI/CD
• ▹Standardize automation and infrastructure-as-code for high-volume ledger/transaction platforms
• ▹Reduce operational overhead through tooling and engineering standards
• ▹Optimize performance, reliability, and observability across infrastructure
• ▹Define service ownership and operational models across platform/product teams
• ▹Contribute to infrastructure and security strategy for new payment rails (FBO, stablecoins)

Requirements

• ▹8+ years in DevOps or infrastructure engineering
• ▹Track record of setting technical direction without direct authority
• ▹Experience building internal platforms that abstract complexity from product teams
• ▹Designing and operating distributed systems, AWS at scale
• ▹Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar), CI/CD automation
• ▹Containerized environments (Docker), observability and performance tuning
• ▹Experience scaling high-volume workloads and defining reliability standards

Nice to have

• ▹Experience architecting infrastructure for multiple payment rails simultaneously
• ▹Understanding of payment rail mechanics (ACH, wires, RTP, cards)
• ▹Familiarity with security/risk standards for money movement
• ▹Balancing immediate delivery needs with long-term infrastructure strategy
