Senior Full Stack Engineer, Integrations VistA

Abridge is hiring a Senior Integrations Engineer to design, build, and scale real-time and batch data integrations with partners and clients, with a focus on healthcare systems such as VistA.

Responsibilities

  • Build robust healthcare integrations without compromising security, privacy, or quality, using REST-like APIs, FHIR, and other third-party APIs
  • Design, build, and support integrations and infrastructure to scale the business
  • Collaborate closely with health system customers on deployment, troubleshooting, and support
  • Enhance existing systems for new functionality, performance, stability, and security
  • Advocate for high standards, add documentation, and limit growth of technical debt

Requirements

  • 5+ years launching business-critical integrations with large enterprises
  • 2+ years of VistA integration experience
  • Experience with mPage Workflow components, Dynamic Documentation, and CCL
  • Proficiency with REST-like APIs (FHIR), OAuth2.0, mTLS
  • Excitement for the tech stack (NodeJS/TypeScript, Google Cloud Platform)
  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating well in a team, comfortable in a fast-moving startup

Nice to have

  • 2+ years of experience with healthcare data integrations
  • Experience delivering integrations with EHRs like Oracle Health/VistA
  • Familiarity with FHIR, HL7, or X12
