Staff Product Manager, Platform & Infrastructure

Responsibilities

• ▹Own the vision, strategy and roadmap for Render's foundational platform primitives (compute & orchestration, networking, storage)
• ▹Drive prioritization across platform investments, balancing foundational capabilities with near-term product needs
• ▹Partner with Engineering and Product teams to shape the technical direction of core infrastructure
• ▹Develop a point of view on how platform primitives should evolve to serve AI-native builders
• ▹Set standards, guidance and abstractions for how other teams build on Render's platform

Requirements

• ▹7+ years in Product Management, mostly on developer tools, infrastructure or platform products
• ▹General knowledge of how AI is used by modern teams
• ▹Deep developer empathy and technical depth for architectural tradeoffs
• ▹Track record of turning ambiguous, cross-cutting platform problems into shipped strategy
• ▹Strong communication and storytelling skills

Nice to have

• ▹Experience as an infrastructure engineer
• ▹Experience building AI agents or infrastructure
• ▹Bonus: strong perspective on agentic memory management and compute workloads
