Sanofi's Procurement organization is seeking a strategic Data & Analytics Roadmap Lead for the R&D Procurement Domain, accountable for defining and executing Procurement's data roadmap and bridging Global Category Teams with the in-house shared services center (Procurement Services).
Stack
Responsibilities
- ▹Develop a strategic analytics roadmap for the R&D Procurement Domain, aligned with the overall Procurement analytics roadmap
- ▹Identify and design analytics capabilities, co-developing and prioritizing business cases with stakeholders
- ▹Align the roadmap with Procurement Services to ensure timely, quality delivery
- ▹Work with the Head of R&D Procurement to capture analytics requirements
- ▹Work with Global Category Teams to understand future data requirements and develop a data strategy using internal and external sources (e.g. Bloomberg)
- ▹Support pragmatic implementation of innovative technologies (Machine Learning, GenAI) with Procurement Services
- ▹Monitor and track SLAs with Procurement Services to ensure timely delivery of capabilities
- ▹Apply advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to uncover patterns, correlations and predictive insights
- ▹Define data models that enhance understanding of procurement performance, developing bespoke models with Procurement Services
- ▹Prepare and deliver executive-level reports and presentations, communicating complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- ▹Provide leadership, guidance and mentorship to the procurement team
Requirements
- ▹Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Statistics or related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred
- ▹5+ years of experience in a procurement role with a focus on analytics and emerging technologies
- ▹Strong understanding of Procurement processes and frameworks
- ▹Significant experience in Indirect Procurement, with knowledge of R&D spend categories
- ▹Strong understanding of data privacy regulations, industry trends and best practices
- ▹Ability to translate business requirements into a technical roadmap
- ▹Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, data-driven decision making
- ▹Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, ability to influence at all organizational levels

- ▹Proficiency in additional languages
