Responsibilities

• ▹Take an active role in influencing the team's roadmap and own career objectives
• ▹Work with the team to deliver new features, then iterate based on the results
• ▹Drive projects from initial ideation all the way to operations once in customers' hands
• ▹Embrace the open-source culture and contribute to projects beyond the team's direct scope
• ▹Design, build, operate and maintain critical systems, owning reliability, performance and availability
• ▹Take part in the team's on-call rotation and own the services being run
• ▹Mentor and support other team members, participate in design discussions

Requirements

• ▹Solid experience with at least one programming language (the team primarily uses Go, but familiarity with Python, Java, C++ or Rust translates well)
• ▹Some experience delivering projects end-to-end, from gathering requirements to shipping to customers, in a self-driven way
• ▹Some experience developing software that runs in the cloud or with systems engineering
• ▹Experience writing clean, robust and performant software that is easy to maintain
• ▹Independent, proactive attitude and good communication skills in a fully remote team
