Responsibilities

• ▹Shape and evolve the experimentation platform (feature flags, instrumentation, data quality, reporting)
• ▹Lead design and implementation of experiments driving activation, engagement, and expansion
• ▹Partner with product, design, and data to refine hypotheses and measurable outcomes
• ▹Balance rapid iteration with long-term architectural health and security
• ▹Raise the bar for code quality, observability, and performance across the team
• ▹Mentor engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and pairing
• ▹Identify technical opportunities to unlock new growth mechanisms

Requirements

• ▹5+ years of professional software development experience in a production SaaS environment
• ▹Strong experience building backend services in a modern language (Go, Node.js, Ruby, or Python)
• ▹Deep experience with React and/or TypeScript in customer-facing web applications
• ▹Strong understanding of instrumentation, analytics, and success metrics
• ▹Ability to operate autonomously and influence technical direction
• ▹Strong collaboration skills and a growth mindset

Nice to have

• ▹Experience leading or contributing to experimentation-driven product development
• ▹Familiarity with analytics platforms (Amplitude, Looker, Qualtrics)
• ▹Experience working in security- or compliance-sensitive domains
