Propulsion Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Support space projects in developing, integrating and testing propulsion systems
• ▹Prepare test procedures and plans, perform gaseous, liquid and electrical functional testing of satellite propulsion systems
• ▹Develop, build, maintain and continuously improve test stands
• ▹Specify, procure, assemble and maintain test and measurement equipment
• ▹Perform filling, pressurization and drying operations on propulsion systems
• ▹Plan, supervise and execute system-level tests at production facilities, test centers and launch sites

Requirements

• ▹Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or a comparable technical field
• ▹Hands-on experience in Assembly, Integration & Test (AIT), ideally with propulsion system testing
• ▹Solid understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, static and dynamic behavior
• ▹Experience writing test procedures
• ▹Strong willingness to learn and quickly grasp new complex topics
• ▹Fluent English, valid Class B driving license

Nice to have

• ▹Knowledge of data acquisition software scripting, automated test equipment, and handling hazardous gases/liquids
• ▹German language skills
