IT System Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Implement and operate SIEM solutions and vulnerability scanners
• ▹Identify and remediate vulnerabilities using the tools in place
• ▹Implement IT security requirements
• ▹Configure new sensors and thresholds
• ▹Analyze and visualize logs and large volumes of security data
• ▹Further develop the toolset and SOC processes

Requirements

• ▹Completed IT training, IT degree or comparable qualification
• ▹2-3 years of professional experience in IT security or networking
• ▹Very good knowledge of the Elastic Stack
• ▹Experience with SIEM systems (e.g. Elastic SIEM) and vulnerability scanners (e.g. Greenbone)
• ▹Experience analyzing log data; knowledge of IDS, IPS, firewalls and network components
• ▹Willingness to undergo an extended security clearance check (SÜG)
