Founding Forward Deployed Engineer

About the Role As a Founding Forward Deployed Engineer, you will connect an AI-powered operations platform with customers' day-to-day workflows in the consumer packaged goods sector. You will own implementations from initial discovery through go-live, helping customers improve how they manage wholesale operations while bringing field insights back to the product team. What You'll Do Lead customer onboarding end to end, including discovery, integration, configuration, testing, and go-live. Work directly with operations teams to map purchase-order-to-cash workflows and configure the platform to meet their needs. Build and troubleshoot integrations involving EDI, ERP, inventory, accounting, and freight systems. Turn complex operational requirements into clear data models, configurations, and product capabilities. Share customer insights with engineering and help shape product improvements. What We're Looking For At least 3 years of experience in forward deployed engineering, solutions engineering, implementation engineering, technical onboarding, or a similar customer-facing technical role. Experience owning customer onboarding from discovery through integration, configuration, testing, and launch. Strong working knowledge of APIs, data models, SQL, and integration debugging, with the ability to read and write code. Hands-on experience integrating EDI, ERP, inventory, accounting, and freight systems. Experience mapping purchase-order-to-cash workflows and translating operational needs into technical configurations. CPG, supply chain, logistics, or ERP experience is a plus. Comfort with ambiguity, changing needs, and hands-on customer problem solving is important. Compensation & Benefits Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
