Responsibilities

• ▹Design solutions for data ingestion
• ▹Create the architecture of ETL pipelines for manufacturing and development data of MEMS sensors, and implement them
• ▹Mentor trainees, review code and act as a role model for junior software engineers, data scientists and data engineers
• ▹Apply clean code principles and agile ways of working
• ▹Consult with colleagues in your field of expertise and support them when needed

Requirements

• ▹At least a bachelor's degree in a STEM major
• ▹More than 3 years of experience as a software developer or data engineer (the latter preferred)
• ▹Advanced level in Python, Databricks and PySpark, with hands-on experience in all of them
• ▹Knowledge of Hadoop
• ▹Experience with cloud technologies, especially Azure

Nice to have

• ▹MSc in IT from a high-prestige university
• ▹Knowledge of BI tools (Power BI or Spotfire)
• ▹Experience in multinational, highly complex projects, ideally in a senior data engineer or architect role
• ▹AI/ML knowledge and experience working closely with data scientists
