Software Developer – Manufacturing Software

Responsibilities

• ▹Maintain, enhance, and where needed rework existing software code and C++-based tools for infrared camera technology
• ▹Perform fault analysis, fix software issues, and optimize system performance
• ▹Contribute to all phases of software development, from requirements clarification to implementation and commissioning
• ▹Conduct code reviews and support build, test, and release processes including unit, integration, and UI testing
• ▹Support and further develop software solutions across a complete production line for IR cameras
• ▹Contribute to continuous improvement of development and production processes using agile methods (Scrum) and automated CI/CD pipelines

Requirements

• ▹Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, physics, media informatics, computer engineering, or a comparable qualification
• ▹At least 5 years of professional experience as a C++ developer or in a similar role, with confident use of MFC (legacy code) and Qt
• ▹Experience with pyTest, Google Test, QtTest, as well as Git, CMake, and CI tools
• ▹Routine use of databases, especially MySQL
• ▹Very good German and English skills (at least C1 level)
